Sr. Manager, Finance and Accounting
Role Purpose:
Lead and coordinate all Indonesia Business Unit Finance and Accounting aspects for both operating and non-operating blocks to support its business goal and aligned with Corporate or Functions standard and guidelines.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Strategic Plan: Ensure that departmental strategies and related strategic plans are developed and implemented, provide technical insights and advice to business development related to financial terms of contract of major project proposals.
Accounting:
Ensure effective handling of payroll (costing & payment), a/c receivable and payables, cash management, cash calls, funds request for all operations in Indonesia in coordination with the Corporate.
Ensure effective handling of aspects related to treasuries, forex management, and inventory/asset management to support operations.
Ensure that monthly closing process for Joint Venture and Corporate are done as per schedule.
Budget & Reporting:
Responsible for preparation of Business Plan, Budget, Quarterly and Yearly plan in line with the Government, Corporate, and Partner reporting process for formal approvals.
Oversee the preparation of Reporting for Government, Corporate, and Partner related to all aspects of Lifting, Entitlement, Taxation, HR, and Expenditures.
Corporate Handling:
Oversee the Entitlement Invoice and regular analysis that affected by Regulator (if any).
Produce Monthly and Annual Corporate Report, as per IFRS and GAAP.
Coordinate the Score Card data for IBU Performance.
Manage the Corporate Income Tax.
Join Venture Handling: Handle joint venture for both operating and non-operating blocks related to all aspects of finance and accounting.
Auditing: Support general auditor in handling the questions/inquiries/findings from Government Auditor, Partner Auditor, and
External (Corporate) Auditor.
Commercial Contract: Advice the explorations and business development departments in framing out the terms of commercial contracts in line with the Company’s objectives.
Procurement: Advice the procurement department on budgetary and contractual advice as and when required in best interest of the Company’s objectives.
Data Management: Ensure effective maintenance of all financial data related to contracts and other agreements for future references.
MIS and Report: Ensure that all functional reports of all departments are completed timely and comply with international principles of corporate governance and standards, the Company’s policies and standards.
Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures: Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of finance activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
HSSE Commitment: Shall comply with all Company HSSE Policy, Standards, and Procedures.
Qualifications include but not limited to:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Management with Master Degree in relevant discipline is preferable.
- Above 15 years experiences in Oil & Gas Company, including 10 years in a managerial/ leadership role.
- CA/CPA/CFA qualification or equivalent is a advantageous.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting standards specifically related to Oil and Gas activities. IFRS/GAAP Certified is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge and skills on statutory reporting, management reporting, budgeting and planning, KPI development and performance reporting.
- Good understanding of upstream fiscal structures and Industry KPIs.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to details; economic analysis and modelling skills; planning and project management skills.
- Knowledge of ORACLE/SAP ERPs platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work effectively across the organization, corporate, partners and other function.
